Flying Club

Fly San Diego, based at Montgomery and Gillespie Fields in San Diego with an additional location in North Idaho, offers a unique hybrid flight training experience. Unlike traditional flight schools, our flying club provides an organized, supportive environment with oversight on instruction, training resources, and aircraft management, while also allowing members to rent aircraft and work with independent flight instructors.

As a club member, you share insurance costs through monthly dues, keeping overall rental and instruction fees more affordable. Our vision is to grow the club, using dues to support community-building events, fundraisers, and scholarships. We already host social gatherings to celebrate newly licensed pilots and welcome new members, creating a sense of camaraderie and support.
